This authentic Louis Vuitton Trompe L’oeil Pochette is a limited edition piece possibly from its 2004 collection.
Dark chocolate brown velour is printed with signature Louis Vuitton monogram in golden yellow. The appearance of a flap and padlock is printed on the velour also, hence the name “trompe l’oeil”. The strap of this bag is very beautiful; double chain linked in antiqued gold tone hardware with studded leather insert. The zippered top opening has a Louis Vuitton engraved pull, which shows some signs of being tarnished. This is not noticeable when carrying the bag unless you are looking hard for it. It definitely does not distract from the beauty and uniqueness of this bag.
